these full cg shots mostly required atmos, integration and grading work
1:00 – suit, fx beam, background replacement, flare. Red light on face. Some work was done on relighting the cg suit
1:04 – same again
1:08 – bluescreen, the usual, despil etc required, atmos haze and extra bugs added in comp, still bg, parallax added in comp.
1:13 – similar deal
1:17 – green screen, cg city, window lights, distant twinkling, chimney smoke atmos and sky added in comp. I also did a little work to make the defocus more squashed toward the edges. my shots drove the look of the sky in this sequence.
I also helped develop a workflow to add window and smoke elements quicker.
1:20 – same deal
1:25 – same again, with rack focus this time
1:32 – same again
1:35 – and same again, except this time full cg instead of green screen
