The Union Cabinet has approved a telecom relief package to help maintain a three-private player market. Here are the major highlights:
Union Cabinet approved Rs 26,058 crore PLI scheme for auto, auto-components and drone industry.

1. Cabinet allowed 100 pc FDI in telecom sector with safeguards
2. Cabinet approved 4-yr moratorium on payment of statutory dues by telcos; telcos to pay interest on moratorium period
3. Cabinet approved 9 structural reforms; spectrum user charges rationalised
4. Cabinet rationalised AGR definition, excludes non-telecom revenue of telcos from payment of statutory levies
5. Telecom Minister says spectrum auction to be held in last quarter of financial year
